TV Licensing Visited - Or Did They??

I came home to this today:

The intimidating letter claims that I was visited today and I need to take action within 7 days to avoid another visit!  So they 'visited' to say that they are going to visit me!

Once again they go on to say that the only way to stop the intimidating letters and threats of (another) visit is to buy a TV Licence that I DO NOT NEED as I DO NOT WATCH LIVE TV or use the IPLAYER!

The weirdest thing is though, they never rang my doorbell or knock on my door.  They simply got out of their car and posted this odd letter through my letterbox, turned around and left!  I know this as I checked my doorbell camera.  Very, very, odd.

Even if you go on to their website and fill in the form to say you do no need a TV Licence they still threaten to pay you a visit so what's the point in that!

TV Licensing - Happy New Year! - Will you be in on 3rd February?

Happy New Year to TV Licensing as they continue to harass me and try to intimidate me in to buying TV Licence that I do not need!

First of all, unless the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation has turned in to the AMERICAN Broadcasting Corporation, shouldn't it be Will you be in on the 3rd of February??

It's a Thursday which is a weekday so I'll probably be at work on the 3rd of February.

Again, they boast of visiting an address every 6 seconds (8,000 intimidating visits a day)!

The only way to stop the intimidating letters and threats of 'Officers' visiting you "Day. Evening. Even weekends" is to "buy a TV Licece" "before it's too late" and don't forget "if no one answers, they can come back".

Threatening.  Bullying.  Intimidating.  Threatening.

How is this harassment legal???

I do not have a TV Licence as I do not need one!   If I watched live TV (on any channel) or use the iPlayer then I would buy one, but I don't so I don't need one.

The only way to stop these threats "before it's too late" is to "buy a TV Licence".

CWS Cigarettes Corset Factory Desborough (Co-Operative Wholesale Society Ltd) Cigarette Card

Look what turned up in the post today - I paid a lot more for this cigarette card that I really wanted to but hey-ho, such as life!

C.W.S. Corset Factory, Desborough.

The C.W.S. commenced corset making in Manchester 1898.  It soon became evident that larger premises would be required, and land was bought at Desborough upon which this business-like factory was erected.  Its productions are, or should be found in every drapery store.  For style and comfort they are unequalled.
